A Felted Bee Class

Our felting group at The Cow Bell Trading Post had so much fun at the Felted Bee Tapestry class. It is always so amazing to see how creative everyone is, putting their own unique style into a project. This type of felting was done on a piece of wool felt, poking the various colors and details in with a barbed felting needle. Students who had never done two-dimensional needle felting like this before shared that it felt "meditative", "relaxing" & "fun" ~ bringing them into a place where only creativity surrounded and the world outside blurred. That is what felting does for me too, it is so personal and satisfying to work at your own pace, pick up and add more as you see fit. I have shared a few photos here from class...
