Wet Felted Scarf at The Red House Cultural Arts Center in Salem CT!

Join a FULL DAY WORKSHOP to create a unique hand felted scarf using fabulous merino wools, silk, bamboo, viscose and other specialty fibers.  Add fringe if you like to this nuno felted approx  36-48" scarf. In this class we will learn about wool and how it becomes felt, combining fine merino wool with silk fabrics to create a wearable art piece.  The class is a wet-felting class, and includes physical manipulation of the wool, be prepared to roll up your sleeves!  Choose from one of these colorways when you sign up so a kit can be made for you:  1. Earth: neutrals/champagne/golds 2. Skywater: blues/violets/aqua 3. Forest: browns/golds/greens 4. Sun: yellow/oranges 5. Fire-reds: bright oranges/yellows 6. Summer Garden: pinks/purples 7.
