Tapestry workshop at Madison Wool

Enjoy a fun day working with fiber, both wet felting and dry, to make a unique wool painting based on a provided design or bring your own reference and we will work together to bring it along! We start by designing our painting on a wool felt “canvas” using just a bit of needle felting to place the fibers, then we will wet felt using techniques you can use for any wet-felted project and finally needle felting the details to make a finished piece. Alternatively , If you enjoy hand or needle embroidery , this project is perfect to add your own special effects that way too! Teacher will provide all materials, use of tools, a variety of samples and plenty of hands on instruction.
